Before creating the album "HDMICASUAL SOFTWARE 2000" I was inspired by digital hardcore, vaporwave, old raves, j-pop and k-pop (mostly from 2000-2017), footwork, juke, lo-fi house, Memphis rap, dnb, dubstep. I wanted to do some kind of revival of my earlier release 美学 Hdmiw4ve, which was written as spontaneously as possible, but at the same time sat in the soul. I wanted to create my own sub-genre "hdmiwave" that combines post-internet leanings with underground and Asian music influences. I used microsoft system sounds and xbox as synth, bells and perc.
